A Greek courtroom

The Gods and Mortals topic has been a hit with the children, allowing them to experience all about the way the Ancient Greeks lived.

Today we investigated how the Greeks resolved conflict – moving from an unjust system to a much more regimented court-like system with a judge, and jury (even if it was made up of over 500 people!)

The children had a go at role playing various conflicts, with the others acting as a jury, passing verdict as to whether the conflict had been dealt with in the right way.

Great work 3NG!

  1. This looks like a fantastic learning opportunity. 3NG, what did the British learn from the Ancient Greeks about the justice system?
